SCAM Claiming to be revenue, need to press 1 to avoid jail term….

This person claimed to be my child who had smashed their phone and wanted me to WhatsApp this number, which I didn’t do. They said they had called from a friend’s phone 07599569709 which was about to die. This is terrible preying on parents. I don’t know what would have happened if I clicked on the number. Hope this helps others

SCAM Indian man called me pretending he was phoning from BT. Sounded like a scam as we are no longer with BT and have not been with them for years. Plus he was trying to use a british name and not an Indian name to disguise himself/ID

SCAM - Domestic Care Ltd. Claimed I had a warranty for cooker, fridge & washing machine & it was due for renewal at £229 instead of the £320 that I apparently paid last year (I did not). Caller, Asian lady, very persistent that I did have a policy & was due for renewal. Even quoted a policy number & that I'd paid by c/card (I didn't). Just answered this number, automated voice telling me a debit is about to happen on my bank account for 900 quid, press 1 if its not me. No mention of details, names etc. Blocked now and have checked the bank, so assuming SCAM. DO NOT PRESS ANY NUMBERS!

Russian sounding chap called from 02081871316, didn't give a compnay name, but said in a clunky manner that I'd bought bitcoin as "another company", it's been stolen but they can help me get it back. I'm concerned that they might scam someone if they get more slick at the script.

Received a text today from 07520619511 about a labourers job required by CLS and giving a landline number for CLS to apply. I am a 68 yr old woman and not in the market for employment let alone a labourer. The text was sent by mobile 07520619511 which when checked on this site is a SCAM number

Called my mobile, I have an app that tells me if it's a spam call if the number is not in my contacts. This came up as "Suspected Spam - debt collector" - Not sure if it was, I didn't answer. Searched a couple of these sites and the number is not listed anywhere - very odd
