I answered phone on first ring and got a recorded message saying they were sorry they were unable to contact me ‘at this time’ and asked me to call back or try again later. The recorded message played so instantly that I missed first 4 words and have no idea who it was. This makes me think is was a group call, so I’ll be blocking it

It’s a scam! Told me they had noticed an unusual amount for £1100.00 had been taken from my account. Received a payment request email from Paypal for £650 with message stating "Fraudulent activity found, amount £649.99 GBP has been debited from your account for a purchase of DECATHLON GIFT CARDS, if it's not you reach us immediately @ +44-800-368-9784". As this email was directly from PayPal, i checked my account and the request for payment was actually true, however the message on the request is false and the number is fake. This number is NOT Paypal and is a scam.
