I read in the press that the STAR 9500 smartphone has been found to have a factory installed trojan virus. So I disabled my STAR 9500 and moved the sim card to an old phone. A few days later the old phone reported a missed call and a text message. The message was just this number. I didn t call it back.
The caller gave this number saying they were from Google about my entry on google maps and that they were going to help me fix the problem I had to get customers to find me. There s nothing wrong with my entry. So I played along and when asked for my name said it was George Bush. Apparently I should get a call back later today as I said I was too busy. Beware, this is just usual scam.

Called wanting to talk to me about an accident that wasn t my fault but didn t know my name - hung up when I asked what date this accident was supposed to have happened.
Said it was my bank and that western union transfer had been taken from my account of £600 and that they were my bank press1 to talk to them to discuss the matter. Claimed to be from Sky, I don't have sky so I spent a lot of time asking if they were going to supply me with Sky so that I could take advantage of their services & I insisted that it had to be supplied free. The oriental sounding lady really didn't get it. Eventually she asked if I had Sky & I replied that since she was from Sky I must have or she wouldn't be calling, but just now I couldn't remember what I'd done with it. She gave up.

My wife answered. Foreign male called asking to speak to XXX. No security questions asked. Claimed he was from Microsoft. When told we were on TPS, he became argumentative. He clearly hadn't heard of TPS. When asked to remove our details from their database he became aggressive and said he would disconnect our phone at our address. He knew our address because he read it out! He then put the phone down when I said in the background we were connecting to the police.
