SCAM: I believe this caller is possibly cloning local STD numbers. In an American automated-voice it then claims a substantial purchase has been made fron Amazon via your VISA account. Both of these accounts I have since checked and have not been affected in this way, hence my reporting this bogus land-line call.

024 7630 5294 - This number belongs to furinncattery.co.uk but it has been "hijacked" by some cons pretending they are from Vodaphone. Hysterically, when I said I am not with Vodaphone, the person on the other end asked which company I was with and tried to engage in conversation with me! Heavy Asian accent. I just ended the call and haveblocked the number (as I am not expecting a call from the cattery either!)

I gave my details to a Fake BBC New story on Facebook about trading software and this company keeps calling me. I have asked them three times to delete my contact details under the GDPR "right to be forgotten" and they simply get abusive. Someone called my landline on this number about 0815 this morning and it woke me up! No message left. It is a similar number to a couple of calls I have received this week. The previous callers claimed to be from BT, saying there was a problem with my broadband connection - which there isn’t and I told them so. It is likely a scam to get you to give information so they can hack into your system.
