Received a call from this number today for purporting to be Bank Security ...then advising that a card of mine had been used for a £300 payment to Amazon; and then another payment of £1,000 etc etc. Not possible. It was at that point that I ran off. This was obviously a SCAM hub. The voice was an automated recording.

I've just kept one of their team talking for 12 minutes, saving others from being called by this scam! SCAM, tells you that Amazon and another company are trying to take money from your Bank Account (doesn't tell you which bank). It instructs you to press a number to 'allow' and a number to 'stop the transactions' and speak to amember of the banking team. My elderly mother had it on loud speaker and I was able to interject and get her to delete the call.
