SCAM - On answer a strident recorded message tells you that "A criminal tax fraud case has been lodged against you". I didn't bother listening to the full message - I heard enough to know it was a pathetic criminal trying to scare people into handing them either personal data or money. 02045204183 called 17 May 22 at 11:43 hrs, no message left on the ansaphone.. Then SAME number called same day at 17:02 hrs, background conversation no person responded to my Hello! Double harassment?
Caller identified herself as Julie Smith from Signet Advice (as far as I could tell with some background noise). Said she d been informed I was recently injured in a car accident that wasn t my fault. I asked her how she knew that. She replied that she was sorry to bother me and would remove my phone number from their database and hung up on me without pausing for breath. Pond scum. (My number is registered with TPS and I can t stand talking to idiots so I ve reported them)

This is apparently a genuine number for FedEx but it's been hi-jacked by a 'BT' scammer using a recorded message saying they've monitored suspicious activity. I cut the call then tried to dial 1471 but the line was still engaged and I had to try a couple more times before it cleared.
