Very dangerous. Auto message claiming to be bank fraud office and advising 3 suspect transactions. Asked to press 1 if ok, 3 if not. Did not even give name of the bank! Red flag that auto - they always talk to you in person - they would also want to check that it was actually the custoner talking to! Another red flag re instruction go press button.

They then asked for a payment of £201.56 to be made to ‘Mary Monco’ and at that point I knew it was fraudulent. Reported to RBS and they confirmed it wasn’t them

SCAM - i think they were a scammer, (I'm not positive but they usually are these unknown numbers). They were phoning from outdoors in Trafalgar Square in London, so they could literally be anyone, they weren't a business, (they weren't one of those that hung up immediately, they waited until after I spoke). They phoned twice that day.

This is a SCAM number, report and block immediately.

Some person claiming to be from o2 offering me a 40% discount on my monthly phone bill.......due to covid 19!!!! I played along for a couple of minutes & they sent text message codes which someone could genuinely assume was from o2 as they had security warnings advising not to give the code out etc but when I said I was going to run her through some security questions & asked her the 1st line of my address they hung up. SCAM. The caller was a woman claiming to be based in Cape Town, South Africa. She further claimed to be from the energy company – E.ON – that supplies me with electricity. She knew or guessed my first name, and asked for confirmation of details of my name and mailing address. However, she did NOT ask for – nor did she receive – my e˗mail address, my account number, or any bank or credit card or debit card details. Furthermore, she did not ask for immediate payment. Have nothing to do with this number.

SCAM! Claiming to be calling from Microsoft in relation to a device that is compromised. Caller kept changing tact from it being a product in my name to one in my husbands name, and from a device to a license then refused to give details of what was alleged to be compromised.

Nuisance call Repeatedly ends call when I answee

This number had a female who knew our name but claimed to be from Cristian Aid. Unfortunately two weeks ago had a very similar number phone pretending to be from Cerebra, when quizzed that person they became very nasty then hung up.

Male with indian accent claiming to be from BT but I'm not with them for my Internet! I hung up. I often will not answer but it was showing a local dialing code. Is this a clever way to gain your confidence or was it genuine? I'm not willing to take the risk.
