If you answer this call you will hear a recorded message telling me to press any number for an important message about my bill (Which I did not do and I suggest strongly that you also do not do) as I didn t press any number, the next message was telling me that I could read my own meter and go to their website at http://www.britishgas.co.uk to give the readings. on doing a 1471 call to find out the number, I then went to the website of British Gas at this address; h

Boilers on Benefits. DO NOT give any information to them. Just tell them TPS (nothing else) and hang up. Unfortunately they will have shared your number with other companies who make these nuisance calls. So be prepared to get even more if you answer this one. I have ansafone on 24/7 and seldom answer unknown numbers. But since this one is London and with the current emergency going on there with the fire, I answered in error. Scam call I believe.

Missed 3 calls. I called this number back and was told to stay online for one of the money saver adviser. However, I was not intetested and was offered to opt out and stop them calling my number with option 1. Also added the number to my rejects list.

Similar number 3332406199 is already reported here with payday loan company - probably this one is the same case, same call centre? I don't answer unknown numbers and they left no message. Have missed calls from them on my mobile, was trying to dig some info on the internet before calling them back, but found nothing, no luck. People pls did someone answer this number, who is it?
So far calls from these people - all different numbers - all say they are working on behalf of the Nation Audit office - they are not!

A missed call from these people which I returned. They have also tried contacting me from other numbers. I refused to confirm any details or give a reference number (I don t have one - I ve never heard of them till yesterday). I ve been contacted in the past by debt collectors looking for Steven Griffiths (who isn t me) so I assume this is what this is about. The guy wouldn t continue the call so I advised I would be blocking them.
