Not a scam, it's fine! Was told it was HSBC and was asked to verify my identity by the agent on the other end. I let them know I would call back directly to avoid a scam and she said okay, she would put a note on my file about it, and ended the call. I called HSBC directly through their official phone line and asked about it and they DID find a note on my file - it was totally legitimate! If in doubt go ahead and call back anyway, it's good practice, but don't ignore this number because it is actually real

The number identifies the message as RoyalMail contacting me. The mispelling of Royal Mail is reason enough to be suspiciouss. The asked me to click a link to redirect me to a web page to arrange delivery of a parcel they couldn't deliver. I have nothing on order and I am sure Royal Mail would not mispell their own name or contact me from a mobile. 100% a scam if like my elderly mother, you now look these strange numbers up online before responding.

No name given. He said he was working for Amazon and needed to track down who had ordered 2 mobile phones from Amazon using my bank details (which he had) but had arranged to be delivered to an address that was not mine. To do this he wanted me to go into my bank app and arrange a transfer of £5000 to an account for which he provided and which my bank cleared as existing. I went along with it up to the point of transfer and he then became pressing and agitated.

DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFOMATION THIS IS A KNOWN SCAM! This is a scam, I had them call me on different numbers 5 times in the last 2 days claiming there from several different companies. There trying to scam you out of money and DO NOT belong to any of these companies there claim to be. 0207 9245544 - this number is a scam!!! Called me twice, I didn't answer as didn't recognize the number. I then googled the number and it's some motability Volkswagen thing in London. I called them four times trying to find out why they called me - they are rude and refuse to tell me why they called me!!! Instead, they demanded my name and then started the sales pitch! I never contacted them and I'm not in London so have nothing to do with them! This is clearly a scam!!!
