Yet another call from somebody telling me about a parcel delivery which I had not ordered and to press one for details. Why do I have to press 1 in order to find out? Rang off and blocked the number.

SCAM Possibly , apparently -I’d had an accident in my car. I don’t drive. When challenged they hung up. Probably an Indian call centre.

"Orlando" called from "You Compare" requesting to speak to Mr [Mobile Phone Owners Surname" regarding life insurance policy which they are reviewing (I don t have a life insurance policy). Advised that he is based in Dakar, Bangladesh and that they use an automatic dialler with my telephone number being obtained from an opt-in database. Had a voicemail from this no. (very scripted). Northern Gas & Power trying to sell energy. I don't think it's a scam (and if legit their reviews on trustpilot seem reasonable). That said it was an unsolicited sales call, and I don't look after the gas and electricity anyway!
