Landline call from Bournemouth possibly……silent initially…then connected to someone calling himself Chris…Unknown possible scam caller.
Accepted call and was greeted with friendly How are you today. BUT then went on to ask if I had heard of an IVA. Said yes and asked how they had my number. The reply was they were ringing on behalf of the government to stop people paying excessive credit charges. Asked them to remove my number. Staff member shirty said she had not spoken to me before and just wanted to know my circumstances. Is this one big scam? My mobile is blocked and number hidden so where do they get the information?

Telemarketing - Glow Green Ltd. They sell boilers at 0% finance. The catch? The prices they charge for the boilers are inflated so they don't need to apply any finance charges. Oh and the call was purely speculative. I filled in a form online last night to find a plumber to fix a minor boiler problem.
