Cold call about a car accident I have never had.
Some *unt phoned from 01730905428. Silent call. Recently took 0800 call re "shutting down my Internet due to suspicious activity...Press 1 to stop" Why don`t the `kin` phone companies stop this 5hit. I`ll tell you why, they make money out of it, they are complicit in the fraud, the bstds.
I have also had the silent and then Goodbye calls from this number. Today I spoke to two of their agents on two seperate calls. Definitely HSBC fraud department. It s a separate call centre to the central one as I was taken aback at the different "customer handling" of the fraud dept i.e. not as warm as the central team. It s a genuine number, just avoids the queues of the central number you d normally call.
