I am called regarding this scam at least once a month since a year ago or so... Every time is a different number, so blocking it doesn't help. It is really annoying. I wish I could do something about it, like report it to the police. This have to stop.

Call from "CCN" apparently my details passed by MIB. Could not answer how or why my details were passed nor what the alleged "incident" related to or when it supposedly occurred. When I repeatedly asked for clarification, and said that if they could not answer my questions they should remove my details and never contact me again, they hung up. Basically scam/opportunistic cold call

As usual, when I was hard at work on something important that needed concentration, I got this call again. The usual recorded voice addressed me as "Dear customer". Before turning to Tellows I looked it up on another site and found there had been 169 complaints about it there alone in a few days. Surely the authorities can do something about this, or are the perpetrators so clever they cannot be traced? I hope they are, and that they will get their deserts for their criminal behaviour.

These just called me claiming to be from open reach and needed to get into my computer and then my bank details as they said my computer had viruses. Total scam. I put the phone down and they rung back demanding to know why I put the phone down!
Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. Do not call them back whoever it is - you will pay for it. Tell me why companies still use payed lines for telemarketing (some other reason than scam?)... Did someone answer any number of this range or this one? Maybe this is some good number, but left no message, no way I would call back...
