I was trying to activate a phone on my company network and after working with Verizon and the phone started initializing it came up with this phone number which is 1/2 way around the world for Bribane. Verizon still working on figuring it out. Not sure how this phone number was hijacked to a phone number so far away from my location and mysteriously changed numbers. The phone number on the account has been on my account for 25 years now.

SCAM This number has called my phone with an increasing regularity.
They claimed to be from my bank (VM money was Yorkshre Bank) to ask me about potential fraud on my card. (£52 on Argos in Aberdeen) I was supicious when they got agressive when I didn't know my banking paswword and I said I would have to call them back. I called the fraud number I have in my phone (0800 121 4251) and they confirmed it wasn't them that called me before. The chap on the actual fraud line also said that the real bank won't ask for any part of or all your internet banking password EVER!

Had a call from this number at 13.30 on 23/02/22. Upon answering i waited for the person to speak first, it was an asian sounding person in a call centre. As soon as they asked how i was today i asked straight out if they were a scammer to which they responded yes they were a scammer and a fraudster followed by oh my god repeated several times. I stated the call should now end and looked online to find number belongs to a sushi bar in London so this number was spoofed/cloned and not the genuine number.

He called me on 26/02/2023 from 17.00 on wards every 20 minutes or so till 20.00 hours i disconnected the. then around 15.00 hours he started calling again silent all the time this went on for 10 calls the i did not pick so blocked my land line by leaving phone off hook. Probable Fraud/Scam - Heavily Indian accented female called Rachel called me purporting to be working for Microsoft at the Reading Campus.
