Got a call from a pleasant girl saying she was from "Energy Rescue" at EuroCentral in Motherwell. I took control of the call with lots of chit chat, asking how her day was, how many calls has she made, what was the company phone number, what was their address, had she been working long today etc. etc. etc. I now do this with all calls and it drives them nuts. I stay calm and happy and in fact I occasionally get comments that I m wasting THEIR time!! So whenever you receive a call be pleasant, ask

Rang once, couldn t understand name of company but heard PPI, so put phone down, rang back immediately and the male operative said, "Why did you put the phone down", I replied, "Cos I m not interested". He answered, "Interested in what" in an angry tone, so I just said, "In whatever you re selling" and hung up again. The phone then rang again immediately and I didn t answer. Didn t like the tone of the call at all, or appreciate being rung back a further twice.

Has a Wanted ad in "Yours" magazine for to purchase cameras and lenses, giving the name Keith.

Same experience as many of you - Called today by 01206 688002 - soon as I answered my mobile they hung up. I won t be calling them back.
