It is British Gas so genuine but I was trying to buy boiler servicing online and they called me during my set up. I was quite surprised. He then proceeded to try and get me to do the same on the phone BUT I preferred to do on the website for safety so declined. When I returned to finish the online forms it just redirected me to call them. I was so annoyed at manipulation I didn’t call them
This line should belong to some company, but no remark on internet about it. Haven't found any info for this one, does anyone have some experience with this number? Be aware if this number calls, it is for a shared costs, so better not to call back. Have checked also different formats of this number, but no luck. My 81 year old father was targeted and asked to insure his 4 year old Indesit washing machine. Unwittingly he set up a d.debit which he cancelled the next day, with the bank, when he realised he already had cover. He rang Appliance Serve and told them too, he was asked to put it in writing which he did. He is now getting calls about his non payment and they are threateneing court action as they said they hadn t received a phone call or letter. Total fraudsters targeting the elderly. #scammers

Rang us at 6 am, female caller had a Philippines accent, wanted us to take part in a survey for the FINANCIAL TIMES. Asked her if she was aware of the time and answered very brazenly "Yes it s very early" told her that we were not interested but she carried on so told her to "F**K OFF" and hung up. Posting this also on the FT Facebook WALL!!
