Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. Had a couple of missed calls from this number yesterday. Answered a call from them today. They asked for me by name and said they were called Motor Assist and calling about a car accident. I told them I hadn t been in one and that they d been given the wrong information. They hung up on me without even as much as a goodbye. Number blocked.

Fifth call in two days. Blocked

Kept ringing my landline, when I asked him why he kept ringing he said if I didn t talk with him he would ring every day non stop until I did!! Bullyish, rang 10 times in 4 minutes.

Told me they were calling as id applied for a loan which had been declined. I haven t applied for any loasns and she kept insisting I had but said she couldn t tell me where id applied due to confidentiality. In the process of buying a house and the only loan id applied for was a mortgage which is already in place so very disconcerting. When I tried to question her she tried to end the call. Clearly a scam.

When I dialled the number it went straight to a voicemail asking me to record a message. Have blocked the number.
