Call received from an Indian sounding young lady who said she was from BT Open Reach, I said I donot use BT and then she went silent, I left the call active and could hear other voices in the background saying keeping trying ...

20/10/2016: "I understand that you were involved in a car accident in the last two years. Is that right?"

gentleman phoned obviously from a carousel system, claimed to be from BT could not understand him, requested he repeat what he said he hung up. Be VERY WARY.

Keeps calling daily am no longer picking it up. When I did answer a moron tried getting me to claim for overpaid loan insurance. Hung up on him. Don t answer. OR answer and blow a really loud whistle down the phone.

Said they were upgrading the fiber network for Open Reach in our area and needed to be put through to the person dealing with the telephone to avoid the lines being cut off. A direct threat. Les on lies. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE CROOKS.

Has called more than once. Says things like ?and how do you know your life insurance isn?t now up for review? to try and fish for information regarding when your life insurance is up for review to make them sound legitimate. Also said ?we?re not dodgy, I think it is cause of the Welsh accent people often assume I?m from a call centre?. Hung up when I told him I was at work. I think they guess who you have life insurance with so they sound legit. They call around once a month.

Woman phoned asking if I was Miss (my girlfriend s name) I m not the butchest of guys but I don t sound like a woman.... Very heavily accented Indian accent, also appalling sound quality with lots of noise in the background. When I asked who it was from, she mumbled something about PPI at which point I put the phone down.

Unwanted call don't know whom this call is from.

Cheats anyone including taxman

Displayed as "unknown number/ witheld", transpired to be the usual "you have been involved in an accident" call. Said were Pearl advice and gave number when asked.

Missed call

Rang off as soon as answered. Had followed a similar call from 02037693419 four minutes earlier

Similar threatening conversation as above. Claimed to be HMRC, asked for DOB & NI number. When asked for confirmation in writing he threatened police action!
