It seems the criminals, who obtained personal information as a result of leaked information from Talk Talk, are telling people their broadband service is likely to be closed down after 24 hours. It is rubbish. I did not answer the call, and got my information from other sites.

Cold called me to offer cheap subscription offer on Mojo magazine as I had bought one back issue. As soon as I said no this female caller dropped the call with no apology or further comment. Felt like it must have been a scam.
I m getting calls from this number every single day for about 10 days by now, even on Sunday and in early hours! I haven t answer...but I m very annoyed by that!

SCAM Fraud BEWARE ! This number has only recently appeared on this site (August 2023) from other people checking. Caller says you've suspicious transactions on your card, knows your name and last four digits of the card. Asks you to check the balance, in my case without any security questions. Woman with bad English reading from a script. Said she was from british gas and wanted us to give our postcode, account number and meter number. We said no and she said she would ring back. Obviously a dodgy call centre as other people have said other companies and reasons for the call! BLOCKED!!

Came up from darlington. This person named copeland called re: bing verification of business listing I said I was already verified but had a duplicate listing, any how this person was rude, overbearing and aggressive, and refused to listen to any thing I said saying (he was going to hang up as he didnt like how i spoke to him) imagine that, I have the call recorded and saved on file.

Had them call me regardsin PPI claims a few months ago, when paperwork arrived they had not listened to me and all info was wrong so threw it all in the bin, called them up and told them not to contact me again. A South African has just called my mobile - WHERE DID THEY GET MY NUMBER FROM? He tried to follow things up but I simply told him that I was not interested, he waffled on so I put the phone down!
