Wasn t happy when started to ask for relatively minor details (address/post code) so caller advised not prepared to discuss further. Not content with my perspective of "This is unsolicited, from a number I don t recognise, and you ve advised you are as acting as a 3rd party" tried to push on. SCAM! Called saying I have evaded tax and there is an arrest warrant. Pressing 1 led me to the hold music and a robot which most scammers use which say your call is very important to us. This is definitely not how you would be contacted for tax fraud. You would be arrested already.

Caller went on to ask if I was a home owner and if I worked full time or if I was entitled to any tax credits and whether my heating was mains fed or fuel. When I stated that my house was mains fed I was advised that I don't qualify. The call ended.
