Just received a call from this number on my mobile. I answered and said "Hello?" whereupon the call was immediately disconnected. I don't recognise the number, but suspect some sort of scam or nefarious activity. Although the criminals mainly target my landline, some of them seem to have my mobile number.

This was from a rude and abusive man with very poor English who claimed he was from carphone warehouse and when I said I wasn't interested he said he was also a police officer and was going to find out where I lived and beat me up, he was screaming abuse at me. This was entirely unprovoked as I am a very polite pensioner who never shouts and swears, I would recommend everyone to do as I have done and block this number.

Called me today, knew my name. Started telling me that I was in debt and that they have a scheme blah blah blah, rambled on for ages and the finally asked if it was something I was interested in. TAXES / HMRC . The mesage said that tehre is a letter that has been returned back to HMRC and that there will be legal actions against me. Then to press 1 to speak to operator. Nothing happened, when trying to call back there is a busy tone.
Just had a call from this number. He said he was from 3 and was offering me an upgrade for my phone and cheaper monthly payments. I asked him to confirm the first line of my address and he said, you should know it and put the phone down.
This is not a Leeds number but an international call centre cold calling bot
