Asked for acc details, put phone down and immediately rang my appliance insurance company and they said they havent been taken over by smart insurance. I felt relieved that i hadnt given out my bank details but its shocking how lnowledgeable they were and the information they currency had on it. Blocked immediately. Pls beware and be careful.

SCAM Call from Sky technician department! Strong Asian accent. There is a problem with my broadband router. Not with and never have been with sky. Wanted me to load an app on my phone so she could show me what the issue was with the router. Not happening I said. Got accused of arguing with her. Managed to waste 8 minutes of her time before hanging up and blocking.

SCAM message received 14/02/24 appearing in same text message thread that I receive from Lloyds Bank. It provides a one-time passcode for a purchase that I had not made to FENDI LTD. It tells me to contact them on 03333392763 if I had NOT made the purchase. I did not call them, instead I contacted the fraud dept. of Lloyds Bank. They knew my name and said they'd been authorised by the government to handle a legal case against FX Trading. I knew it was a fraudulent phonecall when they wanted ID and statements from me. My phone picked up that they were calling from Rome but the man clearly said he was working for the UK government. Very dodgy!
Called me 6 times in the past 3 weeks. I have missed all the calls as they happened when I am working. They have never left me a message which makes me assume either dodgy or cold calling. After reading other people's comments below I have blocked the number - if it is green peace as some suggest then I have no idea how they have got my number. I have been pestered recently by buy to rent mortgage type people although not from the area code (Torquay) and estate planning neither of which would be of any use to me. Would love to know where they got my number from.

I have received pornographic, harassing videos and pictures aimed at myself as well as sexually explicit messages from this number. This person is a stalker and I believe they may have links to India. They go quiet for a few months after I block them, a new number pops up. I need to leave this here in case anyone else is experiencing this. It has been reported to British authorities. IP is probably being bounced.
