Cold-calling to do with promoting books on Amazon.com for self-published authors. I am not the person they’re trying to contact, although they have the same name. Poor research on their part. They also have my email address. It looks like a London number, but I’m not 100% convinced that it’s UK based. They referred to Amazon.com, not Amazon.co.uk. Caller had an American accent. Judging by other reviews, they’re looking scam money from you. This is a new direction. SCAM

The call was from a VISA fraud checking unit. However the number was the fax number for a garage in Penkridge, Stafford that closed down some time ago. Clearly scammers have cloned the number.

100% trustworthy because no-one has said otherwise yet????? Thats hardly a way to grade something. Maybe its 100% Scam but no-one has said otherwise. Other websites say its Indian call centres asking for details claim to be EE or o2 or Virgin so that doesnt sound very authentic does it - and if you havent asked for Indian call centres to call you its spam and a likely fraud

I haven’t answered this call yet as I tend to not answer calls where I don’t recognise the number - I figure if it’s important they’ll leave a voicemail. I was getting consistent calls from another number in the same area as this one which I blocked yesterday, and now today I’ve already had two calls from this number in the same area. This number has been trying to make a dwp application for a budgeting loan without my consent I clocked it on my Google history page hope you can help many thanks, my phone rang at 9pm last night and a Jamaican woman said to me I am returning your missed calls I said to her I havnt made any calls and put phone down and started checking everything then I noticed the dwp thing on history page

I got a text from this number 01256306797 rang it back and it was disconnected so it must be a scam

I had a call of this number to my work mobile, which highlighted it be suspected Spam so I didn't answer. And within 30 seconds I had a call from the same number to my private mobile!

It's an automated call like a robot. They said they're calling about a repair iv reported to my landlord? I simply replied no and the robot understood that and just said alright bye. Weird but could trick someone and scam them somehow.

This number was supposed to be a dedicated customer service text service for Flawless Cosmetics. I made an order on 9th Feb 2022,paid by credit card and a couple of days later I received an email to say the order was on its way. Its 4th March and still no product. I texted the number to ask where my order was. The reply was "Arriving soon". I asked "when". No response. i left it a couple of days and asked again. The reply was "soon". Im still waiting. Ha
