This is not how any Government office enforces their legislation. Just ignore and block it. If it was legit you'd get a letter first and a face to face visit if you fail to respond.

Indian accent man, all he did was asking me yes/no questions... like, are you ____? is ____ your postcode? have you got a mortgage? are you happy with your bank? After I replied to his questions he said ok have a lovely day an hung up... which I found weird. Unfortunately, it was until he hung up that I realised he might have been recording my yes/no answers to use this for any sort of identity fraud or scam... Im very scared now and don t know what to do

I had a missed call from this number on my mobile but no message left. Also similar number called me recently - all the same 20346308xx range, probably the same marketing company? I don't wanna call back since I do not know the number - it could be just a robocaller testing if my number is responding, don't want to let them know my line is active... 18 Oct 2021 - Received a call from this number stating that they are from HMRC but it’s some robot talking so I pressed 1 to see where they are calling from. A woman answered stating she’s from HMRC couldn’t give me anymore detail, then kept asking for my name when I was called from them? So surely they should know my name. I refused to give my name and she cut the phone off. 100% scam, suspicious. Blocked Reply
This is the RSPCA and they try to bully you for money because you called them out once. If you say no, they make you feel bad for ever calling them. Their harrassment calls go on every day, sometimes 3 times a day, for months and they never leave a message. Lost all respect for RSPCA now.

Introduced himself as Peter from Telephone Preference Service. Asked if I was getting nuisance calls? So I told him he was one. But Peter continued unabashed and asked again and said I needed to register to stop these calls. So this time I said I did not want to stop them as I enjoyed the conversation. He asked if I didn't want to have them stop. But I again repeated that I liked them. This succeeded in confusing him immensely and he could not think what to say - haha Basically a complete scam - beware.
