Boiler room investment scam claiming I had opened an account with them (which I had not).
Automated call
Scam say they are calling from virgin re broadband
Called me. Didn’t answer as I don’t answer unrecognised numbers.
Safe number
Caller said they were from BT and they detected suspicious activity on my router. I asked them if they were OK to have the conversation recorded - they hung up.

Fraud pretending to be from HSBC received a text saying something about a one time pass code and to phone this number

Answered and you could hear a noise, but no one answered
SCAM - automated voice pretending to be "visa security" reporting suspicious activity on a card. Directs to press 1 for "security department"

I heard a distorted oriental-sounding voice and all I could catch was 'bank' and 'payment to China' I think before I ended the call. A scam no doubt, and probably not from my local exchange at all.
