Caller contacted me regarding my contact with BT openreach and claimed they were phoning to give me feedback on fibre broadband. He knew my name and sounded legitimate however on confirming my address the line went dead

Keep getting calls from this number but when answered there s a huge pause. had plenty of similar calls in the past like this which are scam calls usually about an accident so reporting them as am TPS registered so no one should be calling

A "UK Consumers Survey" call, they have my name, and he just carried on (as if really hates his own job) try to verify my personal information which I ve then stopped him and he simply hanged up. DO NOT SAY YOU ARE THAT PERSON --- From now on, my first greeting to any caller would be questioning them. Now I may get even more spam calls by giving out that they have valid information.
