Missed a call to my mobile from this unknown local Nottingham number. Suspicious as I haven't given my number to any but a handful of friends, and my doctor/dentist/pharmacy. No message left. Another caller-trace service says this number was first detected 11 days ago, but there were no reports about it. When I checked 10 minutes ago, *this* service said there had been 16 searches in the last 10 days. Now when I've returned 20 minutes later it says there have been 20 searches. It was an automated call claiming to be fromAmazon about rogue orders on my account. I have never had a call from Amazon about thise things. I didnt select any options and the number went dead.

This no is from someone providing loans and they say that you have cleared all checks and you have 100% been accepted for the loan you just need to pay £41 to make it a secured loan this is so they can see that they can afford the repayments but another company would only take a £1 to confirm your card is yours and working then they give u it back if what they say is what it's for a copy of your bank statement would be more than sufficient not and the caller id no is false SCAM

Many calls from this and similar numbers to my (unused so number never given out) landline. In the past hour I've had 6 calls, their last two digits have changed each time but the rest is the same. As soon as the answer machine kicks in they hang up.
