They just put the phone down as soon as you answer it.
This phone number called me about a loan I apparently was applying for and said they would send me an email, they asked for my account number and sort code, I still haven't received the email and I am not happy that these people have got my details, thank God it isn't my main account.

25/04/2023 Call from this number. Claiming to be Barclays Bank, very poshly spoken female telling me fraudulent activity on my account etc. kept them busy answering my questions, until they put down the phone. Quite sophisticated scam - beware

This number has called me several times in the past few days & 3 times today alone. I do not answer unsolicited calls & NEVER give ANY personal information over the phone, not to even confirm my name. I suspect this is an automated dialer & more than likely a scam. Received a WhatsApp message from this number claiming to be someone who has just immigrated to the UK. In the WhatsApp contact details it says that the number is a business account but it also has a comment saying it isn’t a business account. Very dubious. Suspect a phishing scam

A man with a very strong accent (difficult to understand) spoke about iPhones. I asked where he got my number from and he said 'from your provider, Vodaphone'. I'm not with Vodaphone so I told him that's untrue and he must be lying. He then proceeded to call me a liar - twice! Bizarre phone call. Potentially trying to gain personal data. Blocked.

Missed call from this number. Tried to ring back and it hung up straight away. Probably a spam call but cannot confirm
said they were from BT to query internet connection said was been interfered with. When I said I did not own a laptop or computer the call changed and they said would be sorted in 3 days. Defogger scam.

Monday May 8 Call from this number stating they were ringing from microsoft. This was one of a series of 6 calls starting on Friday 5th that stated they were (or were probably connected )from microsoft ! Different numbers used for each call; no messages left on answerphone. No info given or replies to caller numbers
