Phone today 27/07 purporting to being doing a survey. Assumed I was a tenant and that I needed repairs doing on my property. When I asked if they were giving me money to make repairs on my property she became flustered and said sorry they were only speaking to tenants and ended call. Sounded like a young asian woman with call centre noises in background.
Ignored number as never answer ones I don't know. Suspected it was a scam, confirmed by others here.

Said they were phoning from Vodafone offering an Iphone14 for 35 pounds a month. Told them I had taken out a contract and asking if I wanted it for 2 months free free iPhone 14. Not a British accent and fast speaking. Quite pushy. Typical scam call just after your hard earned cash. Another number to block!

Telephone 01782256242 was the number I picked up from distinguishes 1471 yet when I google this number it comes up for 01782256242 - someone supposedly from Microsoft asking about my computer at 07:13 in the morning, told him I didn’t have a computer and git cut off
02045797441 called twice today.8Jun23 First at 11.27hrs, heavily accented voice claimed to be calling from BT about my internet connection, I think! hung up. Second at 12:24hrs, identical number, didn't leave a message. We seem to be getting more scam calls than calls of any meaning. Maybe we should discontinue the landline?

Believe a scam - I had a letter which says it is from Lloyds Bank ( we do have a Lloyds Business a/c) but when rang this number on the letter they couldn't find our account by searching via name or post code or by ref number on letter - they asked for our account number which I didn't give or if I had a business card with me - I hung up - the phone number location for this number given above is a field near Blackburn in Lancashire but the address on letter is Edinburgh

Automated call stating that £300 & £1,100 had been taken from my card. “Press 1 to cancel”. I pressed 1 to try and find out who was calling. Was told by a guy with a foreign accent that the call was from London Paddington. He asked the reason for my call and then asked for my full name. At that point I put down the phone and registered this number. Obviously this was a fraudulent call.

This is a number that is in a series of numbers from 0843566xxxx on rotation that I have been blocking for 3+ years. It’s clearly cold calling for insurance as I have answered a call however most calls ring 3 times before ending the call. Very difficult to track. And every time you block one number, another variation of the first 7 numbers appears a few days later. Very annoying. Very frustrating.

Received 4 calls on my cell in Benelux within 2 minutes; this is part of a practise that started on 13/2: since then I received about 60 odd calls from similar +44 numbers. The first one or 2 I picked up and people claim I registered with credit card for online consultancy, related to financial investments. After that I categorically block all these calls. Called about 20 times from 8am on a Sunday morning to around 9am on the Monday morning. BT Call Guardian took care of it as the spammers/scammers will never bother to 'announce' themselves... they can't when they're using autodiallers to try and connect to as many number as possible. Add this number to your block lists
