Wanted to know if I had some unwanted downloads on my computer
Still not sure who called, rang it back as expecting contact with Brentford County Court, the call was answered by answer machine that said "Trying to connect you" then some music and then the line went silent so I cut the call when that happened and still no answer. Seems dodgy now but will see if they ring back.

SCAM asked for me by name, said it was about warranty on my washing machine, I don’t have a warranty on my machine, said this and they hung up on me. I can only conclude it is a scam

FRAUD SCAM Recorded message claiming that my internet service would be disconnected due to my (unnamed) ISP detecting 'illegal' activity from my connection and inviting me to press 1 to connect to an 'executive'.
Automated call - claimed to be HSBC telling me a payment of £600 had been authorised to an overseas account and I was to press ‘1’ immediately to stop it. Hmmmmm.......

Dangerous scam call pretending to be from HMRC. Threatening immediate arrest for non-existent unpaid taxes unless you give them an immediate payment. Just end the call, don t press any keys and if they leave a voicemail don t call it back. There will be no legal consequences, they re just trying to scare you.
Did not get to phone in time to answer but odd time of day (17.15) to call -quick search dodgy roof installation con. I think it?s the same number that called me on Friday also about roof insulation.
