Similar experience to Tuglet ... Caller claimed OH had been getting lots of nuisance calls, I said no, he never picks up the phone unless he knows the number and if our phone does not block them automatically, then I did and put the phone down. Now polite I know but expected the hard sell.

An male idiot called me to follow up on a brochure I had ordered. I told him I previously did arrange for a home visit and these planks cancelled it at 2 hours notice citing a broken down car. I told him that this was a lame excuse - hadn’t they heard of car hire? He kept saying “ we can foretell a breakdown” repeatedly! Asked for me by name and claimed to be from Hear to Help. They asked if anyone had ever worked in a noisy environment. I asked where they got my number from and they said The British Data Company. This is what I ve been told in the past when I ve had the same type of phone call from The Hearing Clinic. I told them I was on the TPS and they said it was their first time calling me. I refused to answer their questions and they hung up.

Absolutely disgusting!! He was screaming down the phone at me telling me how rude I was and calling me all the names under the sun just because I told him that I don t have time to take a sales call and could he please email any info he has through for me to look at! I told him not to call again and blocked the number from calling. When I tried to call back to speak to a manager to complain there is no answer! So angry!!

This number called my mobile. I did not answer, but wanted to check the number out first. there was no bad report on the number. when I tried to return the call there was no answer then a "click" in the line and a message that the "other person had hung up". this makes me think it s somebody trying to sell you something nobody wants
