Whatever we think of the tax man, at least we can rest assured HMRC wouldn't call like that ... they'd send 5-15 letters first. As much as the bot message is amusing to listen to in its fake urgency and menace, there will unfortunately be people, who will get upset by this and fall for it ... DON'T!

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8432632xxx range... People did someone answer this number?
Seems they just computer call to suss out active numbers so they can bombard them later with nuisance calls. unfortunately if you answer then your numbers marked as active, seems i messed up this time as i answered by mistake

Waiting for a call back from Hospital & getting the tail end of the message when I answered, I stupidly gave my name & Hospital number! I'm now worried about any repercussions. I'm normally good at fielding these irritating calls with silence & cutting them off, but it was early morning, & as I said I was waiting for a call!
