Person called my house while I was at work. Spoke to my wife and stated he was our "television Provider" and needed to know our phone number, and billing information. When my wife asked him what television provider we had he answered "Comcast". We don't have Comcast we don't even have Cable. So this guy goes silent and then asked to speak with her Husband. The number that called me 01890840335 is a scam call.Telling me there was suspicious transaction on my card involving £1000.00

SCAM. Saying that they are my bank and that I have made a purchase from Amazon for £360 and international bankers order for £1400. I terminated the call at this point

Claimed to be from the VAT. I didn't believe them. We have accountants and all our HMRC dealings are up to date. Rascals.

The usual fake "bank" call about two payments from Amazon and somewhere else. I never buy from Amazon out of principle.

Scam number, said I'd been in a car accident and was owed £400k and they simply needed my debit card number, expiry date and the 3 digits on the back so they could "transfer the funds" to my account. When I declined to provide the details they told me I was "being a nerd".

It was an automated msg saying I had 2 payments coming out of my bank (but it didn't say which bank) and asked me to press a number to confirm the transaction or a different number to stop the transactions I believe this to be a scam call
