Just received a call from this number. Voice was male, with a terrible poor comand of the English language. Would not give up, even though I informed him that I was recording the conversation. Scammers undoubtedly. BEWARE.

Called me at 13.20 GMT. The line was dropped as soon as I answered. This is probably a computer generated call. A person will monitor several lines being dialled by the computer. The operator will pick up a call that gets a 'hit'. All the other lines will then 'drop out' ie hang up because the person monitoring the lines is speaking to some other poor unsuspecting victim.
This number belongs to the Royal British Legion. They tried 3 times to call yesterday but no-one there!!
