This number called today and said that two transactions had been made on my bank account, one from amazon for £300 and one for a transfer of £1000, be aware this is a scam and they should look to getting a proper job.

This number is claiming to be Currys PC World Mobile. I work at Currys myself and is internally being recognised as a spam number pretending to be Currys to sell fake mobile contracts for their details. Avoid.

SCAM some lady purported to be from Amazon phoned about my Prime Ac with the option to pay or cancel the membership and asked to press 1 to cancel or speak to customer service.. i saw it was a mobile number so it had to be fake and I told them i would do it online i tried to call back to find out who they are but they do not answer the phone i called amazon and they confirmed it was a scam

I'm getting calls on a daily basis. I never answer and always block however, each call is a slightly different number. I've even had 3 different numbers ring me within one minute as if someone is desperately trying to get hold of me!! Don't fall for that one! If you don't know the number and it's important they will leave a message,if they don't it's not important is it? I did have one message left one day there was just a load of swearing going on in the background then it cut off.consider them Dangerous!

This person claimed to be my child who had smashed their phone and wanted me to WhatsApp this number, which I didn’t do. They said they had called from a friend’s phone 07599569709 which was about to die. This is terrible preying on parents. I don’t know what would have happened if I clicked on the number. SCAM - claim to be from BT Openreach and advise my internet searching has gone from private to public. They had my home address details (but I didn’t confirm anything). My system has not been compromised, as I have all my security settings nailed down and up to date. Don’t divulge or confirm anything with them, even when they say they are putting a block on your IP, it’s nonsense.

just had a spam phone call from this number claiming to be Santander.

An automated female voice, purporting to be from Amazon, said I had ordered an iPhone and should press 2 if I wanted to talk to someone.

Indian scammers claiming to be from Visa and wanted to have additional authorisation on some recent bank transfers. Checked with bank and no additional authorisations were required. Based on my experience......this is yet another scamming outfit
