I got this call today and decided to look it up to find these comments. I never answer my mobile to numbers I Dont know, if it s important they will leave a answer message. Everyone should be doing the same, as once you answer they know you line is active, they will then sell you number to other company s. I used to get at least 7 a day from different numbers but now only recieve 1, most days I don t get any anymore.

This woman with a very liverpudlian accent rang me today said she was ringing about a RTA I had and ringing to help. When I said it had been sorted and please take my number off your database and stop ringing me it was in 2013. She was so abusive and ended in if you keep your hair on a minute I may take it off. When I rang back to complain the answer says , this number is not in service. Scum just scum speaking to people like this. I am so angry I want to find out who they are.

Pretended they knew who I was and that they had a PPI payment for me if I would just confirm my details. Needless to say they hadn t and I didn t. They didn t even know my name.

Got a call from this number, can’t find any search about this number. Too noisy! First said it was from Sky, (knew my name and address), said my contract ended now in begin of April, I corrected saying it was only next month. Fraud Got a phone call from this number. I answered the call and nobody answered for about 20 seconds. Then a very thick Indian accent said "Hello, this is Jenny from BT Openreach.....". I replied "No your not...your a scammer" and hung up. I know and live in this dialing code and there are no BT Openreach offices in this area. Given the accent and that it is BT Openreach (which I don't even use) I suspect this is an Indian based scam call centre.

Looks like a new number for scammers. Claimed to be from the "Technical Department of Sky", regarding my internet connection. Apparently my router has been sending them reports every time I go online. They hung up as soon as I told them my Sky router hasn't been plugged in for about three years.
