I answered phone on first ring and got a recorded message saying they were sorry they were unable to contact me ‘at this time’ and asked me to call back or try again later. The recorded message played so instantly that I missed first 4 words and have no idea who it was. This makes me think is was a group call, so I’ll be blocking it

SCAM Call from Sky technician department! Strong Asian accent. There is a problem with my broadband router. Not with and never have been with sky. Wanted me to load an app on my phone so she could show me what the issue was with the router. Not happening I said. Got accused of arguing with her. Called me 6 times in the past 3 weeks. I have missed all the calls as they happened when I am working. They have never left me a message which makes me assume either dodgy or cold calling. After reading other people's comments below I have blocked the number - if it is green peace as some suggest then I have no idea how they have got my number. I have never donated to Greenpeace however I may well have signed petitions but I don't think you usually give out your phone number when you sign a petition

They knew my name and said they'd been authorised by the government to handle a legal case against FX Trading. I knew it was a fraudulent phonecall when they wanted ID and statements from me. My phone picked up that they were calling from Rome but the man clearly said he was working for the UK government. Very dodgy!

This company relates to OAKMOUNT AND PARTNERS LIMITED - Reg No. 07101464 who are fraudsters been scamming people into fake investments such as Carbon Credits, Oil, Metal etc since 2009 that don't exist. They will steal your money in order to feed their lives, you will not receive any returns only complete lies. If you have invested and paid into any of their accounts please contact your local police asap. These fraudsters are also using various fake addresses across Essex.

This is the fourth time this week calls from 01223 reputed to be Cambridge? saying my bank account has been attacked etc when pressed 2 to talk to the operator a female Asian voice answered....I asked are you in Nagapur India, the line went dead? It's obvious they have a way to get into our phone system. Another one they use is Liverpool 01514.

This is a Bedford number so it will be the scammers at J Talk pretending to be your BT manager. Somehow got my personal mobile number but when told the time of day he rang the company number immediately. BT, how do these people obtain private details, someone must be passing them on?
