Caller claimed the loft insulation I had installed would cause condensation and things had changed since the loft was last surveyed. He tried to pressure me into an immediate survey. When I asked if he knew when the last one was, he said he was new at the job & his manager would call me to arrange a survey today. When I started to speak defensively he ended the call. Fraud - tell you that HMRC have issued a warrant for your arrest and to press 1 then they leave the connection open at their end and charge you premium rates for the call. Please don't answer - people have lost up to £300 pressing 1 and then they continually try you on different numbers every day after this. This should have been stopped long ago by the authorities - it's a disgrace that it hasn't been.
