A Asian guy called saying I have been awarded a 30% discount for being a loyal customer O2 customer. i Left O2 over a couple of years ago, so I checked the number out online while he was talking and the number was listed as a scam call, so knew it was a scam. Old scam. Claim to be from BT Openreach saying there is a problem with broadband causing damage to devices but they can fix it for you. Just a scam to get info, passwords or even put spyware onto your device. Just hang up on them and warn others that this scam is going around again.

Clearly reading from a set script, asking about my home improvements - when firmly pushed, said the 'company' was "Homes Advice". Call appears to be from North of Manchester, nowhere near me. Put phone down when I pressed for an address. Some sort of scam?
