SCAM Someone called “David” called trying to sell me a mobile phone contract. iPhone 13 pro max, 24 months with unlimited data, minutes and texts. For £40 a month. When enquired, came up with nonsense which made no sense. Asked for network provider, my name, and starting asking family names. Of course gave fake names and realised I knew they were scammers. Swearing dialogue commenced, said they were from Sri Lanka which seems nonsense. Accent sounded Indian. Called back on different number

Number called me, no one spoke on the other end of the call. I hung up and called back and the number wasn't recognized.

Called me; recorded message started 'This is a Bank Notification'. We have received two charges . .' Obvious nonsense, I ended the call.. This has all the hallmarks of a potential SCAM. Do not respond.

020 80583227 Spam / fraud / phishing call. Well spoken Indian man asked for me by name, gave me my address & postcode, said he was from Domestic General and had checked my paperwork and as I had not claimed I can have a discount. Knew what products covered and type of policy, and paid on direct debit. Said paperwork will be here in a week. I have just received a call from this number saying they were Amazon Prime. When I said i didn't have Amazon Prime they hung up. He was trying to get my details from me.

They were pretending to be BT Openreach. Noise in the background and English speaking was poor. Tried to tell me my internet was poor and we’re about to get into asking for my details. I blocked the number.

Received a text today from this number telling me my “Apple Pay has been suspended” and advising me to update my details via an “apple wallet” website. Needless to say I didn’t and this is definitely dangerous!

(Doesn’t even say positive for what) Fools! I attempted to look up the web address on my iPad and it came up as non existent. Presumably they would have tried to make me pay for them.
