SCAM - i think they were a scammer, (I'm not positive but they usually are these unknown numbers). They were phoning from outdoors in Trafalgar Square in London, so they could literally be anyone, they weren't a business, (they weren't one of those that hung up immediately, they waited until after I spoke). They phoned twice that day.

Spam call, with background sounds suggesting it was from a call centre overseas. Started with the usual opening gambit — “Good afternoon, Madam. How are you doing today?” I disconnected it & blocked the number.
SCAM Call says they are from the housing disrepair centre calling about the problems i have reported. Except i haven't logged any calls for repairs. They call constantly and wont stop, they just hang up and call back later.

This number has called me several times in the past few days & 3 times today alone. I do not answer unsolicited calls & NEVER give ANY personal information over the phone, not to even confirm my name. I suspect this is an automated dialer & more than likely a scam. A phone call claiming to be from Amazon, asking me if I wanted to continue after the free trial. I don't know if they would have asked for payment details, as they hung up when I said it couldn't be me as I already had Amazon Prime.
I had missed call on my mobile. I phoned the number from a land-line, and at first there was no answer. It went straight to Vodafone answerphone. I phoned a second time, and a man with a foreign accent answered. I asked who it was but he just said "You phoned me!" He then asked what company I was phoning from. He was quite rude and abrupt. Suspected automated scam phone call. Claiming to be Amazon confirming purchase of Iphone 13 on my account. Says if you didn't order stay on the line no doubt you get though to someone asking for account/bank details. I just ended call and blocked. My Amazon account does not have this order on it so all okay.

My wife answered the phone, and an apparently recorded message said that there was a suspicious transaction involving a £300 bill from Amazon which had not been paid. Then she was asked to press some number at which point she ended the call. I found the callers number by using 1471. The call appears to be a scam.
