Trying to send information about funeral plans, this happens a day after my Dad passed away. That call I feel was inappropriate, I know it is something that is going to happen to us all at some point but to cold call is wrong. Thank goodness I answered the call and not my Mum!

Caller claimed to be from Amazon regarding a subscription charge for their Prime service valued at £199. Then asked me to press 1 if I needed to speak with an service colleague. I didn’t respond and have blocked the number.

SCAM. Claim to have charged you £79 for amazon prime activation. This is not Amazon. Hang up and forget about it.
Sales call. Quite aggressive wanting to discuss a financial matter with Director.
Claimed to be paid by Microsoft, insisted I switch on my computer which supposedly had a virus. Resisted and argued when challenged, became abusive and continued to try to persuade me (but failed). Called to tell me I had a loan in 2004, and I would get money back, totally rubbish. Could hardly understand him. He did ask me to confirm my address, and he did know my name. Scary! Glad I hung up.
