Fraud SPAM SCAM Asain male calling to try to gain acces to my computer to fix BT broadband line which had been compromised. I do not have bt broadband - BT can not technically supply it on this old rural line. I get b/band via radio link frmo an idependent provider which has nothing to do with BT. Guy said he was from BT technical department! WHat rubbish. He even sent me a pin to agree computer access. I advised him he as a nasty little scammer adn then hung up.

Was called out of the blue about the crypto world trade centre scam, wanting to send me an email to get my funds back - sounds really dodgy apparently they are Virgin Tech - no website, I rang the number back, it connected to ananswerphone message but with no mention of the company. Alarm bells.

they sent me an email claiming i will be charged £375 for Norton antivirues renewal. I called them they said they will need to take me through the process of cancellation which involved me being on the computer to fill in the cancellation form. However when I started the process I immediately suspected it was scam and called them out for being scammer. Called me today said he is from Vodafone Had my real name and date of birth Wanted to take my card data to connect very cheap bundle When I said that this is suspicious and I always can top up my phone directly through app he abandoned call

Claims they are from some housing association what to know if there is damage to your property. When I asked where did they get my number from they mumble some national something. when I said they don't have my number they said all they need to know if my house is damaged. I said they don't even know if my property privately owned. Then they hanged up.

SCAM - the caller introduced herself as a representative of EE Promotional team offering new package deals. I've just spoken to EE at 150 number, they confirmed that they don't have promotions department and this is definitely a Scam.

SPAM Called today pretending to be from BT, saying the internet is not secure, bla, bla, asking for speed of connection - probably marketing. Just hang up.

Claiming to be from UK Tariff and that Sky customers have been overpaying their accounts and they want to check my payments are OK. They asked when I last made changes and as it is a new account I said I hadn't made changes. They asked how long I have had the account and I said I wasn't comfortable sharing that info. He asked why and I said he was calling from a random number and how do I know who he is. He said "Well I don't know. How DO you know who I am, I am calling from UK Tarrif." I hung up.
