SCAM claims to be from o2 offering 40% discount caller gets angry and calls me back asking why I hung up on him

Said they were from Prime. Fraudster.

Pretended to be from D&G home-appliance insurance. After the spiel he asked for our bank details and said it was impossible to send documentation through the post. I would guess that many people have been taken in by this.

Automated message advising that my visa card had been charged with several large amounts. Not true.

SCAM called reckoning to be from O2 offering me a 50% discount. Said they would send me 2 texts, so I put phone down

However when I started the process I immediately suspected it was scam and called them out for being scammer. Claimed to be from reputable finance institution with loud dance music playing in the background, wanted to make sure I got back money I had invested, some nonsense about block-chain, called him out as a fraud and he said the music was because it was Friday afternoon! Utter BS! He started talking nonsense and generally being cheeky so I asked him to remove my number from his database, advised he would, asked if the music was loud enough for me etc, told him call wasn't costing me anything, he hung up, CLOWN

Some guy who keeps calling from different numbers. Sounds like Borat. Get's very angry when told not interested.

The usual fake "bank" call about two payments from Amazon and somewhere else. I never buy from Amazon out of principle.

I have received 2 computer generated messages about an Amazon account from this number. On the surface it appears to be a local number but I believe it is a scam.

Automated call claiming to advise a stop on a £700 payment to Amazon. Utter scam!

Call claimed to be from Vodafone retentions department promising me a 40% discount, asked me a bunch of security questions and then asked me to read him the code from a password reset email that he had triggered on my Vodafone account. This apparently would enable him to send me the priority app so I could access 5G calls and VIP features. Alarm bells at this point. I said I'd call him back then checked with Vodafone. They confirmed that this is not a number they use and not to give out any information. SC

Just called me regarding an attempted transaction to John Lewis. Said my account was ‘under attack’ and there had been several suspicious transactions. He said he would escalate my case to Level 3 fraud, set up a new account number and sort code with a random generated name. Phoned Santander fraud department who confirmed my account was safe - the scammer then called me back ‘No Caller ID’! so I told him in no uncertain terms that he was a scamming bastard and he could go forth and multiply.

SCAI was called from this number this morning. I had to ask twice who was calling but the caller's accent was so difficult to make out I still don't know where it was from. I did catch something about them submitting a compensation form on my behalf - something I have not done or requested. It all sounded very suspicious so I said they had the wrong number then hung up. I really wish something could be done to put a stop to these constant cold calls. It is unacceptable.

Claims to be calling from Virgin Media, when challenged (I'm on TPS, I'm not in a Virgin cable area, etc) they hang up. Same outfit call three or four times a day, always from a different spoofed number.

This number has called me 3 times today 01256844744 on my mobile and then left a voicemail message today 21st March 2022 on reflection I have had this number before sometime last year getting Fed up with it now.I live in Cheshire and don’t know anyone in Basingstoke.
