This is a scam caller pretending to be from a Lyca phone provider offering cheap contracts, the company they are pretending to be are Mobiles.co.uk. They tried offering me a £35 contact for 24 months for a Samsung S23 ultra, which was too good to be true worked out at (£840.00). I explained I did not trust cold callers, so they asked me for an email address. They sent me the email which looked genuine. But it had a different number to the one one the official website. She said "oh, I see" and something about removing me from their lists. Presumably I can look forward to other scammers calling about this fictitious prang over the coming months.

Hi company called Scott&Co They are callling regards to council tax if you are not paying it on time. I forgot to pay a council tax for 2 months and they have sent me a letter that i need to py the full amount in total i had to pay ?712 So i phoned them and they spread the cost for a weekly instalments. they just calling to collect the weekly payment. its not a Spam or Sales call. If they are calling you better call them back ASAP . :)

Automated call From local number. Message said fraudulent transaction has been found on VISA, press 1 to cancel this transaction. After hanging up at this point, the caller appeared to stay on the line for a couple of minutes to catch me making an outgoing call to my bank. Verified this by calling my landline from a mobile which rang engaged, a short time later I tested my landline again and it was clear.
