this was a recorded message purporting to be from HMRC. It stated that a letter had been returned to them and they were going to commence legal action. It asked me to press 1 to speak to an advisor. I hung up!

01483 912149 is a harassing company called MotorEasy. Despite telling them numerous times on previous calls, no thank you. The caller is harassing, today it was a guy called Freddie who was both combative and hostile. When will these people ever learn?

Called by an obviously Indian person - pretending to be calling from a spoofed Manchester number. Thus I had no interest in listening to what he was babbling on about. Not that I could understand him anyway. Something about eBay and Amazon stores. Blocked.

Scam Indian call centre, says internet is broken and tries to get you to download a remote access computer program so they can take over your computer and then claim a ransom from you. Suggest you keep them hanging on the line as long as possible but don't download anything or give them your details. Just string them along and frustrate them. Then give them a mouthful of verbal abuse when you are ready to hang up. Number was +44 (0) 7444496409.

SPAM - silent call, hung up after I answered. Should have known as it had a strange ring tone, but I was distracted and not concentrating. It's getting blocked

Pre-recorded female voice (American accent) purporting to be HMRC but number coming up on iPhone as Newquay area. Couldn't clearly hear what was said but usual message engineered to put people under pressure while offering a "Press number 1" type option to be put through to scammers most likely. Just waited and it cut-off.

Gave his name as Karl Hammond and his partner in crime is Jacob Quinton who’s number is 07763094802 don’t believe for one moment that is their real names but might come in useful if anyone does receive a call from these scumbags. I receive a call from this number but when answering it, the connection is terminated. When I call this number back, the line's connection goes off. Very annoying and probably a 'bad code'!! Very suspicious to say the least!!!
