Was difficult to understand, he asked if we had any repairs done, I made out I have been waiting a year, he then asked if I was a council tenant, I asked him what day is he coming to fix my indoor swimming pool, he put the phone down, I tried ringing back, but just a recorded message ????????

I have received many calls from this 'legal' company saying we had been involved in a car accident. I told them repeatedly to stop calling but they don't. I have caller ID so don't pick up now. AVOID!

Had exactly the same thing, claiming to be about my accident, realised it was rubbish as I haven't had an accident.
Daily phone call received from this company. Pressed 2 and got told to f**k off when I said I was on TPS list. Phoned ICO and asked what they actually do for their government funding. This company has been making these calls for at least 2 years. My suggestion is to contact your MP or the press and embarrass ICO into doing the job they are paid for. Explain was at work and could not talk, but they kept on going. Had to speak over the top of them, saying again that I could not talk. Ending up having to hang up as they just launched into their sales pitch.
Sevaral calls over the past week, silent call. I phone back as I thought it was a cusomer but it was recorded message about Motor Assist or something similar. Called again today, my wife answered they said I had been involved in a accident. I was out in my van at the time so my wife was a bit worried. It is not a landline number but a Broadband line number which has an area code to look like a landline number.
