PPI. They said it was called HELP YOUR CLAIM. I asked to speak to the manager and told them that my phone was registered to not receive cold calls, and asked them where they got my number from. They asked for my email address so they could let me know where they obtained my number from. I refused to give it, as next thing they will be sending me emails too. I was called by this number at 08:18 this morning by someone claiming to be "Amazon Prime" (recorded message) and invited to be transferred to cancel a subscription ('press 1'). The person then asked for my details and, when questioned, told me that it is not possible to contact Amazon directly or my bank over this. The conversation stank so I discontinued the call.

I keep an eye on my credit rating and am debt free. I have received unsolicited calls and texts. Called the number in the texts and asked to call this one - which I didnt. I have not given my name or address to anyone. I find this very fishy. They are a debt collection agency, so have the ability to access my address. After seeking advise, I will wait for them to send me some mail, addressed to me that outlines the reason for their communication.

Wanted to give me a discount as I was a loyal customer. Then tried to get my bank details and debit card number to check that I was the correct customer. When I put the phone down a supervisor called me back and asked the same questions, when I said that they should know I didn t pay my bills by debit card and that I thought the call was a scam he cut the call.

I believe it is someone who called the wrong number. I got a caller on my mobile. I have my number for more than 10 years. I think she misdialled from her phone. She asked for Gemma. I just said there is no Gemma and she got the wrong number. I can't say if this is a trick or not.
