Received a number of calls from this company claiming to be working with Convention Experts for a Show they didn’t know the name of and had the wrong company name. When asked who provided them our details they wasn’t able to answer. Just scam artists!!!

SCAM Called saying they were from BT and my internet speed had been reported as an issue. A technician are working on it, but it was software on my router that was wrong. Got me to look up internet speed. Gave them fake results, which would have been top drawer, to be told they were not good Passed me to another technician to get me to open windows run and enter 'www.anydesk.com'. That scam has been doing the rounds for years. Told them I worked in IT, and they hung up!

Automated call to start, saying that my subscription to Amazon will auto renew at £79, and to press 1 to talk to someone about cancelling, I don't pay subscription for Amazon, I was told that it was £79 a month and that I needed to get a cancellation code and fill out a form to cancel!!! Told me they were ringing as I had a car on finance; I don't. Then asked if I had purchased a car on finance or PCP between 2014 and 2019, again, answered no. Then asked if I had mortgage or loan recently, again said no. Then ended the call. Hopefully with those answers, they won't bother calling again.

Fake Apple Pay texts promoting a link which is obviously spam. My bank has a confirmation for Apple Pay and this isn’t it

Computerized voice claiming to be international police and asking you to press a number to get more information. Is a gotcha!

SCAM- knew my name and said it was a very urgent call re a technical difficulty with my policy which meant my life assurance policy could not be renewed. I told him I wasn't interested in scams and hung up. He then tried to ring me back 5 times. I have now blocked the number.

Cold caller from unknown person or people. My sense is that this is probably a scammer. If they weren’t they could leave a message. Thus, not to be trusted
