I replied and said it was raining in London, to which he said that he likes rain so it is fine. I called him a liar, he hung up. Scam.

AO aggressive aftersales, using a no-doubt masked number. Female caller asked me to confirm my personal details - I refused given they had called me! It was framed to confirm my order, but was essentially a very sharp practice way to try and sell insurance. I asked if there was an issue with my order - she said 'no' very unconvincingly. SCAM Female voice. The person pretended to be from a Bank. Whenever I heard the first few words I put the phone down because I realised that the call was a SCAM and that personal information was probably what was wanted.

Another scammer pretending to be from Microsoft & Windows. Said a problem with my computer so said I use Android tablet and he wanted me to turn it on. Told him he was a ******* scammer and he promptly ended call!

Some person claiming to be from o2 offering me a 40% discount on my monthly phone bill.......due to covid 19!!!! I played along for a couple of minutes & they sent text message codes which someone could genuinely assume was from o2 as they had security warnings advising not to give the code out etc but when I said I was going to run her through some security questions & asked her the 1st line of my address they hung up. Suspect this is a scam posing as HSBC One Time Passcode for an online transaction.

said they were from BT to query internet connection said was been interfered with. When I said I did not own a laptop or computer the call changed and they said would be sorted in 3 days. Defogger scam.

Got a call from this number, can’t find any search about this number. Too noisy! First said it was from Sky, (knew my name and address), said my contract ended now in begin of April, I corrected saying it was only next month. Then she said they needed to do some checks to see if they could offer me a better/cheaper deal and asked me how much I pay monthly. It was when I said if you’re from sky you should know how much I pay. it was when she said she wasn’t from Sky but from UK utility something. I hung up

Number 01322 936144 is a Telemarketing Scam! If ever you don't recognise the number, DON'T SPEAK and JUST LISTEN! If you don't hear anyone, and after a short pause the line goes dead, then congratulations you've just successfully escaped being scammed! This is because it was a computer calling trying to establish if your number was a voiceline. If you'd spoken your number would be logged as a voiceline and some clever con artist would be phoning you later, so now you know. If ever in doubt always hang up!
